Quran and Finality of Prophethood

Mufti Muhammad Siddique Hazarvi

Mufti Muhammad Siddique Hazarvi has in this piece of writing stated that it is a special attribute and huge honour for the noble Prophet (pbuh) to be chosen as the last of prophets. Explaining the word 'Khatam-un-Nabiyyin' used in the Quran and Hadith for the holy Prophet (pbuh) with the help of various Arabic lexicons, the author has said the clear implication of this word is that the prophethood has been culminated and finalized in Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh). It is a short but comprehensive write up on the subject.

Reality of splitting of holy Prophet’s (pbuh) heart

Syed Saqib Akbar

Splitting of the holy Prophet’’s (pbuh) blessed chest is not a material act, having nothing to do with bodily surgery. Rather, it is related to gleaming of the heart with the Divine light, causing vastness of the spirit in the inner of human being and as a result he attains knowledge of the realities of the world and hereafter. It is evident the more one possesses this vastness, the more he will become aware about the spiritual realities and knowledge of the universe and life. It is impossible for a man whose heart has been illuminated by the Divine light not to turn his attention towards the world of permanence because this materialistic world is a transitory abode which has to come to an end. Such a human being who has the ability of seeing this universe with the help of Divine light will concentrate on the realm of abiding rather than on the world of annihilation and will prepare himself for this hidden world before his death. These qualities and signs can be witnessed in all God-fearing persons by degrees and Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the one who holds the most of these traits.

Every human being must maintain good moral behaviour while dealing with others so that a better society is established.

A review of Prophet’s (pbuh) methodology of Dawah in light of Quran

Muhammad Mudasar Shafique

Those trained by the holy Prophet (pbuh) spread the message of Islam by observing the Quranic principles described to them by the holy Prophet (pbuh). As a result of their efforts, the land of disbelief became conversant with the Islamic teachings and those living there couldn’t carry on without acknowledging the high morals and good deeds possessed by the companions of the noble Prophet. It is imperative today to make efforts, both at the individual and collective level, in order to get to the grips with the problems facing the Islamic community so that the Ummah instead of falling into disgrace starts its journey towards achieving glory and ascendancy. For this to happen, the principles and methodology of Dawah (spreading and conveying the message of Islam to people) eloquently described in the Quran in the form of Prophet’s (pbuh) good example and character have to be adopted.
